Our treatment planning software represents a significant step forward in precision and flexibility. While we previously partnered with 3Shape, a globally recognised brand, we have now transitioned to a more advanced and specialised platform that offers greater clinical control and innovation.
Every treatment plan is designed by experienced technicians under the supervision of orthodontists, ensuring both technical accuracy and sound biomechanics.
Plans are delivered within 6 to 48 hours, allowing for fast turnaround without compromising quality.
In addition to standard orthodontic techniques such as IPR and attachments, our system supports advanced protocols including elastics, sequential movements, pressure points, TADs and more. We can also integrate CBCT scans to visualise roots and jaw structures, enabling highly precise, biologically driven treatment planning for optimal outcomes.
Seamless Scanner Integration
You can establish a direct connection between your 3D scanner and the Smile Academy lab for a smooth and efficient case submission process.
Smile Academy accepts files from all 3D intraoral scanners. including but not limited to Trios, Medit, iTero, Sirona Primescan and Shining 3D. Our lab is compatible with any scanner brand, making it easy for you to integrate your existing setup with our clear aligner system as well as our other dental products.
Advanced Orthodontic Software
With our innovative web based treatment planning software, dentists can directly adjust the final tooth positions themselves without needing to download or install any additional software.
Everything is accessible securely online, from any computer and treatment plans can be reviewed from a mobile phone or table.
Clinicians can modify movements, refine the final setup, and customise attachment shapes as they wish, adding or removing them according to their preferred biomechanics. For those who want greater involvement, the platform offers a higher level of clinical control, while still allowing others to rely on our team when preferred.
CBCT Integration for Enhanced Precision
Our treatment planning software allows full integration of CBCT data, giving clinicians the ability to visualise not only the crowns of the teeth, but also the roots, surrounding bone, and jaw structures in three dimensions.
By combining intra oral scans with CBCT imaging, we can assess root angulation, proximity to cortical plates, bone thickness, and anatomical limitations before movements are planned. This significantly enhances the safety and predictability of complex cases, particularly those involving expansion, significant torque changes, intrusion, TAD placement, or cases with pre existing periodontal concerns.
Root visualisation also helps minimise the risk of unwanted root collisions and supports more biologically respectful tooth movement. The result is a more comprehensive diagnostic workflow and a higher level of precision in treatment execution.
