Smile Academy always recommends that patients use a combination of fixed retainers and Essix retainers, rather than relying solely on fixed wires, as wires can break or bend slightly over time.
When ordering fixed wires for upper arches, please ensure there is sufficient space for the wires to fit comfortably, allowing the patient to close their mouth and bite properly.
